Halloween – flashcards part 2

Quale bambino non ama la festa di Halloween, non ama mascherarsi da uno di quei mostri che lo affascinano tanto e avere la scusa per fare scorpacciate di caramelle?
I miei nipotini questa festa la adorano, per cui non potevo lasciarmi sfuggire l’opportunità per festeggiare, sì, ma anche per vedere insieme qualche parola nuova in inglese e fare, intanto, un ripasso di alcune delle cose che abbiamo imparato finora.
Nel post precedente Halloween – flashcards abbiamo visto alcune parole legate a Halloween, ora impareremo i nomi dei personaggi spaventosi tipici di questa festa:

GHOST= fantasma

VAMPIRE=vampire

WITCH = strega

BROOM = scopa

BROOMSTICK = manico di scopa

SKELETON = scheletro

MUMMY = mummia

MONSTER = mostro

WINGS = ali

BAG= busta

E, come sempre, ogni occasione è buona per ripassare insieme i colori (Colours):

What colour is:
– the monster? It’s GREEN and BLACK
– Frankestein’s face? It’s GREEN
– the skeleton? It’s GREY and WHITE
– the skeleton’s hat? It’s BLACK and GREY

le parti del viso (Parts of the face – Mr Potato):

FACE= viso     → Frankestein’s face is green

TEETH= denti → The vampire has got two long teeth

EARS = orecchie → The vampire has got long ears

EYES = occhi → How many eyes has the monster got? 2 (two)

e per fare domande varie per aiutare i bambini a memorizzare le parole nuove, tipo:

What has the monster got in his hand? A candle
What is coming out of the window? A ghost
Where is the witch sitting? On a broom
What is on the skeleton’s arm? A bat
What are these? They are wings
What has the mummy got in his hand? A shopping bag
